Rules for the Chatroom Leaders

Treat other members with respect and equality at all times. This includes leaders, guests and the community. Respect is shown by discussing any disagreements in a clean and considerate manner with absolutely no name calling or low hits.

A person may only be kicked for disobeying the following and ignoring requests to cease and desist.

Spamming the page with excessive amounts of icons or text for the purpose of making it difficult for others to read or communicate.
Mistreating or harassing other community members in any disrespectful manner.
Conducting oneself inappropriately in terms of how public the room is.
One may also be kicked if they are idle and unresponsive for an extended amount of time, such as an hour or so, while moderators are trying to organize an event with the members. This act of kicking is not done as punishment, but merely as a way to allow people that are present to participate in fun events.

It is the duty of a leader to talk to a demoted person and find out the reason for their demotion and correct them before replacing them back into the general community.

It is the duty of a leader to discuss the matter with other leaders and take a vote before banning or promoting a member to leaders. A leader may only ban without approval if the person in question is conducting themselves in a manner that is not allowed by DevianArt's Terms of Service. There may only be a set number of Leaders at a time, Leaders that ban or promote members without approval will be demoted from leadership.

It is the duty of a leader to act with the best interest in mind for the community and promote Viva La Yaoi when appropriate.

VivaLaYaoi is a family of equality and democracy, and represents an encouraging environment for people to participate in.
