Necessities: Food vs Sex

What is the greater Necessity? Food or Sex? Who knows? Aries and I have been quarreling over this too long.

Supporting evidence of Food as the greater necessity: You need food to live. You need food to stay healthy and keep up energy to go to work to get money to buy more food. Besides, condoms are just a luxury, you don't need a condom to have sex, or gay sex no less.

Supporting evidence of Sex as the greater necessity: Lab rats will endure only a certain amount of pain or frustration before giving up on food and opting to just starve to death. But, no amount of electrical shocking or upsetting them will keep a mouse from pursuing a potential opportunity to have sex. Thus proving that sex is way more important than food. And condoms make things so much easier when it comes to clean up. In fact, it makes the clean up so easy, it almost makes the sex itself better.
